• How do I order from Twelve Five Cakery?

    • We have our awesome designer cakes and treats on our site.  EASY PEASY!  Order online in just a few minutes. The menu is growing and we will update social media as we add new designs. Follow us on fb & insta to see new stuff!

  • What if I want to modify or cancel my order? 

    • WITHIN 24 HOURS of placing your order

      • Please reach out to us via email or phone and we will accommodate your request asap. Refunds may take up to ten business days to appear in your account.

    • AFTER 24 HOURS​​​ of placing your order, but MORE than 30 days from your event

      • Modifications (alternate color schemes, ​added details, cake flavors, additional servings, delivery, etc...) are subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate your request but we cannot guarantee changes. Please have all changes to us no later than 30 days from your event date.  Cancellations in this time frame will be honored less a 30% service fee, plus any expenses incurred (including, but not limited to: turn down of other orders to hold your date, supplies purchased for your order, labor hours spent prepping for your order.)

    • LESS THAN 30 DAYS of your event

      • Due to the very detailed nature of our cakes & the time we block out on our calendar for each order, we cannot honor cancellations or modifications made within this time frame.  If you need to add servings, add delivery or include additional design details, we will be happy to try to find a solution, but cannot guarantee changes. Please email us with any questions or concerns.  Our goal is always to make you happy and your event one to remember!

  • Do you bake from scratch or use boxed mixes or resell pre-made cakes/treats?

    • All cakes, cookies & buttercreams are scratch-made.  We use real flour, sugar, eggs & butter in our delicious cakes and cookies!  We have never & will never re-sell pre-made cakes and pastries.

  • What if I want to taste your cake before ordering one of your online cake designs?

    • Of course you do!  We offer sample boxes at various times throughout the month.  Check our online shop to see what's available.​

  • Can I come into the shop and order a cake or pickup a treat?

  • How do I get a different color or size of one of the cakes on your site? 

    • Though we cannot promise an exact color match or head count match, we can work with you to add or take away a particular color/servings.  Sometimes we can alter the size of the cake to accommodate more or less guests.  Email us with your requests.

  • Do you offer delivery?

    • Heck yes! We love to deliver!  It's the safest way to ensure your treats arrive in great condition! Delivery rates vary and are subject to availability.  Please contact us for a quote.

  • Do you ship your cakes?

    • At this time, we are not shipping cakes.​

  • Do you ship your desserts?

    • At this time, we are fine tuning our shipping menu.  Check back for our Shipables Menu!

  • How long do your cakes and desserts stay fresh?

    • Each item varies, but know that we do not use preservatives in our desserts.  Please see each individual note on the item page for specific freshness information.​

  • How should I store cakes and desserts?

    • Each dessert varies.  If refrigeration is required there will be a note on the product page.  Please be sure to wrap tightly to avoid fridge odors from seeping into your dessert.  Most dessert/cake leftovers can be frozen.  Triple wrap and keep wrapped when thawing to retain moisture.  Don't hesitate to ask us specific storage questions. 

  • How large is a serving of cake?

    • We calculate servings based on a 1"x 2"x height of cake. Here's an instagram video teaching an easy hack on cake slicing! (The video shows slices that were 1"x 1"x height of the cake, so imagine double their portion!) ​

  • Do you offer gluten free?

    • At this time, we do not offer gluten free cake or desserts. ​

  • Do you offer sugar free or keto?

    • At this time, we do not offer sugar free or keto desserts. ​

  • Do you offer vegan?

    • At this time, we do not offer vegan sweets.

  • What is a "pop up shop" & how do I know when the next pop up shop is?

    • A few times a year, we open the studio for customers to browse freshly made treats.  One year we even popped up in Laurel! Join our newsletter to get all up to date info so you don't miss our next pop up! Follow us on fb and instagram too!

  • How do I transport my cake?

    • Cakes are chilled when leaving the studio.  Please be sure cake is on a level, flat surface.  Keep in a cool vehicle, away from direct sunlight.  Cakes and decorations are heat and light sensitive.  Please drive very cautiously.  Sudden stops and sharp turns can easily destroy a tiered cake.​ Please ensure cake is chilled if transporting to a secondary destination.

  • Can you accommodate my specific allergen request? 

    • Twelve Five Cakery cannot accommodate specific allergen requests.  Please understand that we use gluten and nuts in many of our products.  Cross contamination is something we take very seriously; and therefore cannot make promises of "gluten free" or "nut free".  We are happy to provide specific ingredient information.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for specific ingredient information.  

  • Can you create a special cake flavor or cookie flavor for my event?

    • We take great pride in our current menu, and have spent time researching the best recipes for our current designs. At this time, we are unable to create custom flavor requests. ​

  • What if I need more than 200 servings?

    • That sounds like a magical event!  We would love to create something super special for you! Let's chat!​

  • What if I really, really, really love your work, but want Mickey Mouse or Alice & Wonderland added to my cake? 

    • Twelve Five Cakery is proud of every design we create.  Our designs are unique to Twelve Five.  We do not add licensed characters to our desserts. 

  • I want a special installation of sweets in your unique Twelve Five style, but unique to my event, can you guys help me? 

    • Absolutely! You are our people! Special installations have a $2500 minim​um. Contact us asap! Let's create magic together!

  • Do you offer refunds if I don't like my cake or desserts?

    • Due to the very detailed nature of our cakes & desserts, we do not offer refunds.  If you are new to Twelve Five Cakery, we highly recommend ordering a sample box before booking.  If you are unhappy with your order, please reach out within 24 hours.  We take great pride in our work, and we want everyone to be over the moon with their order.

magic and whimsy and kindness and making the most special moments & memories with small batch creations from REAL ingredients.  Magic is all around us!  Really, really when considering cake… we put plant dust, clucky cluck protein, moo fat & sweet stalk deliciousness all together, add some motion, then heat and WOW!  Cake appears!  It is real life magic!

Seeing the world in wonder and amusement is really and truly part of living a life full of gratitude for the incredible, amazingness we are all a part of on this giant ball of liquid & fire & soil.  At Twelve Five we believe in being playful and not taking it all so seriously, and letting your mind wander and bring you into an immersive land of sweets, even if just for a moment.
